The Prosoft RLX2-IHNF-W-E is a weatherproof, industrial-grade fast wireless hotspot designed specifically for harsh plant-floor environments, SCADA automation, process control systems, and mobile worker Wi-Fi infrastructure. This robust hotspot supports dual-band operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, including Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) channels, making it suitable for demanding indoor or outdoor industrial wireless networking applications.
Used extensively across industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, water treatment, and mining, the RLX2-IHNF-W-E enables wireless Ethernet connectivity where wired infrastructure is challenging or not feasible. It supports multiple wireless modes including Access Point, Repeater, and Client modes, offering versatile deployment options to extend reliable wireless networks throughout industrial sites, even in remote or hazardous locations.

The Prosoft RLX2-IHNF-W-E includes three RP-SMA antenna ports, a 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet port with shielded RJ45 connector, and a serial RS232 DB9 female port that supports serial tunneling and Modbus TCP/IP to Modbus RTU protocol conversion, enhancing connectivity flexibility for legacy devices. Power is supplied by a 10 to 24 VDC input with low power consumption optimized for industrial energy efficiency.
Configuration and management are simplified through the IH Browser software, which allows users to visualize network topology, assign IP addresses, monitor diagnostics, and perform firmware updates.
