The ABB TU810 is a Compact Module Termination Unit (MTU) designed for use within ABB’s S800 I/O and ABB Ability™ System 800xA™ automation platforms. This MTU facilitates the connection of up to 16 field signal channels to I/O modules, serving as the essential interface between the field wiring and the I/O system. It distributes ModuleBus communications between modules and generates addressing signals to ensure proper system identification and integration of each connected I/O module.
The TU810 supports a maximum rated voltage of 50 V and a current capacity of up to 3 A per individual I/O channel, with suitable accommodation for solid and stranded conductors in the industrial wiring range.
